Welcome to the 2008 site for McDonalds Monopoly. This website will have a page to tell you what the rare tokens are, this years prizes and much more. We also have a forum where you can talk with the thousands of other token hunters. Click here to visit the forums.

We cant tell you how to win, but we can advise you on how to play!

1. By buying qualifying products. They are Medium and Large Fries, Medium and Large Drinks, Chicken Selects (3 and 5 piece), Chicken Legend (Cool Mayo and Spicy Tomato Salsa), Deli Sandwiches, Premium Salads and Regular and Large Hot Drinks.

2. Instant Wins. Peel and reveal an instant win prize icon (see example). For food instant win prizes simply take the game sticker to any McDonald's restaurant and present the sticker before placing your order. For non-food instant win prizes follow the instructions on the game sticker.

3. Collecting. Collect each property game sticker in the same colour group or all 4 stations. Stick them to your game board to win the prize shown for that colour. How to collect: To remove, pull down along perforations on your game sticker(s). Crack and peel backing at top to expose adhesive. Place game sticker(s) on corresponding ‘property’ space(s) or station(s) to collect and win.

4. HMV Vouchers. Just peel it off and stick it to your game board, cut it off and hand it in to any UK HMV member of staff.

19th March 08 - The 2008 McDonalds Monopoly game begins! McDonalds sales are sure to increase as people will go to the restaurant for food, and not go home for their meals, as everyone wants as many chances as possible to find that all import Mayfair token. Why? Oh yeah, its worth £500k!

Q. How do I play?
A. Well you just have to buy a qualifying product, and see if you win on the tokens.

Q. I've Won! - How do I claim my prize?
A. If it's a food instant win, you can just go to the till and order what you've won. If its a major prize, you'll need to do what it says on the card.

Q. Is this site and forum owned by McDonalds?
A. No it isn't, it's ran by me, (Mike!). And for copyright purposes, all the Monopoly images and McDonalds Monopoly, McDonalds Money images and anything to do with that belong to McDonalds Corporation; and not to me.

Q. My questions not here!
A. Not a problem! There's loads of people who can help on the forum.

Every year, McDonalds have hosted a Monopoly style game. Anyone can get tokens by buying food/drink from the restaurant such as large drinks and meals etc, and on the packaging will be a game token (or 2, or 3). On each of these tokens is either a Monopoly property, an instant win, or a "try again next time!" message. The Monopoly property's are used for sticking on the game board, and if you get all three of the set you win a pretty nice prize.

The instant win prizes are free food and drink such as a free Big Mac or cheeseburger. There are also money off vouchers for HMV available. And of course, there is a "try again next time" message on 3 in 4 of them. If your one of those lucky 1 in 4 people who got anything but a loser message; congratulations!

Stuff You Should Know/Rules

- You have to be 18+ to claim a major prize, but they allow you (if your underage) to get your parent/guardian to claim for it.

- The trading if tokens is forbidden, however did you know that in 1995, a children's hospital Tenneesee received an anonymous letter postmarked Dallas, Texas, containing a $1 million winning game piece. Even thought it is not allowed, McDonalds waived the rule in this case, and handed the money out.

- McDonalds gives away millions of pounds in prizes every year!
